Description
This lively, character-filled frog is a unique decorative piece crafted using the glass fusing technique: layers of coloured glass are stacked and fused together in a kiln at over 800°C. This artisan process creates deep colour gradients, organic living textures and a luminous translucency that cannot be achieved any other way. Every piece is therefore truly one of a kind.
The frog sports a speckled acid green and bright yellow body, with burnt orange and fuchsia pink legs tipped in turquoise blue. Its large round eyes, ringed with gold dots, are highlighted by pink Preciosa crystals — a world reference for premium quality. Approximately 20 turquoise and pink Preciosa crystals are individually hand-set at the leg tips and along the body, adding sparkle and fun. Hung from a gold chain, it brings humour and colour to any window or living space.
