These Christmas ornaments are made of glass blown by artisans in Europe and then hand-painted.
Description
This blown glass Christmas bauble is the most romantic and delicate piece in the collection. Its powder pink gradient background — from pearlescent white at the crown to soft pink — evokes dawn skies and Sèvres porcelain. A branching floral design inspired by Japanese cherry blossoms flows in arabesques across the entire surface: large white and pink flowers with fuchsia centres, pale green ivy tendrils with gold glitter veins, closed buds suspended as if frozen in time.
A frieze of tiny pearl beads and a row of small gold leaves elegantly divide the upper and lower composition. Over sixty Preciosa crystals — turquoise, blue, pink, mauve, yellow — are hand-set across the surface, casting a soft and iridescent light. Hung on a tree or displayed on a stand this unique piece sits at the crossroads of floral art and fine jewellery.
